Ralph T. McGrath, Jr, 87, of Marlborough died on December 18, 2018 at Marlborough Hills of after a period of declining health.
He was the beloved husband the late Ann (Cummings) McGrath, who passed away in September, 2018
Ralph was a graduate of Keefe Technical School of Framingham and was an Air Force veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. For over 25 years he was a driver for the former Old Colony Foam-Pack of Framingham, retiring in 1991. Ralph was also a member of the Army National Guard for over 20 years. After retiring, he went to work for CAP in Marlborough until his health no long allowed him to work. Ralph had a love of music and could often be found playing his guitar and keyboard.
He is survived by his children, Kathleen Dow and her husband Ernie of FL; Barbara Wallace of MO; Avis Simoneau and her husband Paul of Berlin; Durward McGrath of FL; his daughter-in-law, Mary McClard, his siblings, Eleanor Roberts of FL; Jack McGrath of Southbridge; Sisters-in-Laws, Judith McGrath and Norma McGrath, several grandchildren; several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by of his children, Marshall, and Patricia and his siblings, Leonard, Kenneth and Nancy.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 3, from 5 to 7 pm at Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 4, at 10:30am at Morris Funeral Home.
