Ruth E (Gardner) Foley

Ruth E. (Gardner) Foley, 53, of Worcester and formerly of Southborough, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021.

Born in Framingham,she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Charlotte (Gasset) Gardner. She attended the University of Southern Maine and held accounting jobs at companies including EMC and Bose. Ruth was an avid Patriots fan, loved tending to her garden, and spending time with her daughter, Brittany, who was her greatest pride and joy. Her contagious laughter and wild spirit will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her daughter, Brittany Foley of Boston; her 3 brothers, David Gardner of Waterville, ME; Jim Gardner of Uxbridge; Wayne Gardner of Uxbridge; her 2 sisters, Nancy McGrath of Melbourne, FL; Bonnie Scherer of Mendon; and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth is predeceased by a brother, John Gardner.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St, Southborough, MA 01772, followed by a burial at Southborough Rural Cemetery.
