David P. Gould

David P. Gould, 66, of Southborough, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Marlborough Hospital after a short illness.

He was the only son of the late Nancy E. (Cutler) Gould. 

Dave was a 1972 graduate of Algonquin Regional High School in Northborough and earned a bachelor’s degree in Business from Northeastern University in Boston.  He started his career working for several Metro West banks and later transitioned into the hospitality industry, working for several large hotels. When he retired in 2015  he was a Night Audit Supervisor.  David enjoyed hearing about everyone’s children and loved animals, especially dogs.  The neighborhood dogs could not walk by his house without stopping for a treat.  He was a kind and generous person who shared what little he had with people less fortunate than he. 

David is survived by his closest cousin, Joanne Cutler of Hudson and her siblings, as well as several other cousins.

Due to the Covid pandemic, a memorial service will be held in the late spring when it is safe to gather.  He will be buried in the Southborough Rural Cemetery with his mother.
