Deborah Jean (Perry) Tompkins, 75, of Bolton, died Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA.
She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Lou (Macintosh) Dombeck and the loving wife of Leo Tompkins to whom she was married for 55 years. She was predeceased by her son Lee Christopher Tompkins.
Besides her husband, Deborah is survived by her sons, David Scott Tompkins and his wife Lori of Hudson, NH and Christopher Leo-David Tompkins and his wife Michelle of Winchendon, MA, her sisters, Linda Dombeck, Carol Dombeck and Karen Neale and her husband Dennis. She is also survived by her grandchildren, John Tompkins, Logan Tompkins, Victoria Tompkins, Faith Tompkins and Leah Tompkins.
Deb’s love for the outdoors led her on multiple adventures throughout the country, exploring nature, camping and spending time with family and friends. Some of her favorite social gatherings included ESOP travel/conferences, Patriots Games/Tailgating and the annual Tompkins Family 4th of July Party. Along with spending time with her family, Deb was an avid angler who received multiple Governor’s Cup Awards for her 54 lb. and 48 lb. Striped Bass. She loved to cook and enjoyed experiencing any cuisine that this world had to offer. Though she enjoyed all types of music, her favorite band was Pink Floyd. Deb, Leo and many of their family members have spent great times sitting in their custom music room or going to see The Machine at a number of venues, some as far away as Philadelphia. Her presence in life will be greatly missed.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 5:00-7:00PM at the Morris-Johnston Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough, MA 01772. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at St. Joseph Cemetery, 990 Lagrange Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132.
