George B. Cunningham Obituary

George B. 'Peter' Cunningham, 78, of Southborough passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Metro West Medical Center in Framingham, after a very short illness.  He was the beloved husband of Janet (Lindquist) Cunningham for the past  43 years.

Born in Concord, he was the son of the late George A. and Helen (Venti) Cunningham. Peter was a 1960 graduate of Lincoln Sudbury High School, and was a U S Air Force veteran serving in Vietnam as an airplane mechanic.  After his tour of duty he went to work at General Motors in Framingham  for 28 years. Peter was known for his skill for auto and motorcycle detailing, as he put his heart and sole into every vehicle he worked on.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and  long peaceful walks around the reservoir.  Peter was a quiet man with several very good friends.

In addition to his wife, Janet, he survived by his step-daughter, Kathy Rossi of Southborough and his good friends.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, funeral services will be held at a later date.  Burial will be in the Southborough Rural Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough.  To leave words of condolence to the family, please visit www.morrisSouthboroughfuneral.com.
