John C. Drachman

John C. Drachman, 73, of Southborough formerly of Framingham passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 20, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Miriam (Schoem) Drachman for 33 years and the son of the late Byron and Ruth (Riemfried) Drachman.

John received his bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut. His writing talents led to a successful marketing career in New York City and Boston. An entrepreneur for the past twenty years, he founded and ran The Drachman Group, and later Alpha Segment. John loved spending time outdoors with his dogs and was a fierce backgammon player.
John was a lifelong activist who firmly believed in equality and the goodness of the human spirit. He never lost his enthusiasm for life or his family – his vibrant outlook was contagious, especially out in the community.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jason Lesser, Matthew Barron and his wife Emily, Andrew Drachman and his wife Liliana, and Lindsay Drachman and her partner Anthony Leombruno; his grandchildren, Fernanda, Caroline, Olivia, Jordan, and Theodore and his brother, Todd Drachman.
