Lillian Boiani Obituary

Lillian S. (Palazzesi) Boiani, 90, of Southborough passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 after a period of declining health.

She was the beloved wife of Noman E. Boiani, Sr. who died in 2005.

Born in Needham, she was the daughter of the late James and Rose (Baldini) Palazzesi. Mrs. Boiani was raised in Fayville and was a 1948 graduate of Marlborough High School.  Following high school she worked for Perini Corporation in Framingham where she met her husband, Norman. After they were married in 1957, they moved to Southborough and started a family.  Lillian was a selfless caregiver and took great pleasure staying at home and raising her children.   She was a member of St. Anne Church and a member of the Friends of the Southborough Library.  Lillian was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and cooking Italian food.

She is survived by her children, Thomas Boiani and his wife Alla; Susan Lukas and her husband Randy of Hopkinton; Noman Boiani and his husband Erin Van Moorhem of Seattle; her grandchildren, Eric Boiani; Andrew and Emma Lukas. 

Due to the Covid pandemic all services will be private. Burial will be in the Southborough Rural Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Friends of the Southborough Library, 25 Main Street, Southborough,  MA  01772
