Our condolences to all the family and particularly Lynda. Richard, or Doc. Dick as we called him, and Lynda were great friends and neighbours for many years. Dick was always fun to be with and we have lovely memories of gatherings with them at their home and on Strawberry Hill where we were originally all neighbours. With Dick a golf game was always an adventure and involved a little gambling and certainly a visit to the 19th hole. Thank you for so many good times and happy memories. Oh.......also he wasn't a bad dentist and looked after us for many years. Hilary and Brian Owen

Very sad to hear of Dr Hallisey's passing. He was a wonderful man and great friend to my parents, Libby and Gordon Bennett. Your family is in our thoughts.

I was saddened to hear of Doc Hallisey's passing, my sympathies and condolences to his family. Upon hearing of Rock's passing many memories came back of his friendly gregarious nature and kind quality dentistry (including prior to the invention of novocaine) over the first 35 years of my life. Fond memories of his calming bear hug while in the chair, chats during holidays and devotion to a three legged dog named Trigger.

A Vivid Recollections was ordered on November 16, 2017

Message from Peter Shimkus and wife Karen
November 16, 2017 5:45 AM

I heard of my good friend's passing when my wife Karen gave me the notice at my desk.
Shortly thereafter, I ran some errands and walked into a Marlboro restaurant for lunch.
IT was playing . Honest.
Anyone who has sung at a "Dick and Lynda" party knows the song.
And I knew it was just Dick saying his final goodbye.
